Tim Hortons Inc. is a Canadian multinational fast food restaurant known for its coffee and doughnuts. After 50 years, Brits can now enjoy Tim Hortons® premium coffee, freshly baked goods, delicious sandwiches & wraps, and other food products. This month its hitting the UK, with it’s first store opening on 2nd June, at 184 Argyle Street, Glasgow.

Whilst Tim Hortons is an institution in Canada, it will be interesting to see how the brand makes it mark with the UK consumer. The potential prize is big. According to market research firm Mintel, the UK retail coffee market has raced from a value of £137m in 1997 to £3.4bn by 2016. The market has grown by £1bn alone since 2011. (Guardian)
