The Brief
Arkwright Scholarships, part of The Smallpeice Trust programme, provide engineering scholarships to students who demonstrate an aptitude to be the future leaders in engineering, computing and technical design. Arkwright is a prestigious scholarship scheme that S2 is proud to be working with.
Our Approach
Arkwright tasked S2 to design and create a marketing booklet to help communicate the Arkwright Scholarship Programme to teachers, raising the profile amongst schools that had up to this point, not actively engaged with Arkwright to assess potential student candidates.
The design of this brochure was a departure from their existing brand feel, whilst retaining brand elements to provide a striking and appealing piece that would help engage with teachers.
We were then asked to develop a similar informative booklet for students which again needed to be eye catching whilst communicating key facts to help students understand the process and accessibility for aspiring scholars.
The Result
S2 developed a quarterly newsletter which will be sent to students, teachers, sponsors etc., to drive news and help build a community around the programme. The first two newsletters have been a great success and formatted for both print and digital distribution.
