THE BRIEF

The Co-operative Childcare now known as Little Pioneers, is part of the second largest independent co-operative in the UK. Co-operative Childcare has successfully been expending and now has 46 Nurseries across the UK. S2 has worked for The Co-operative on a number of projects over the years from market research to parent profiling but has also been tasked with helping produce creative for a multi-channel campaign promoting nursery ‘Open Days’.

ACTION

The Co-op wanted to drive awareness and footfall for a selection of nurseries that were not at full capacity. S2 took a data driven approach, using the insight gathered on each nursery to help define the style, tone and creative content that would maximise engagement. S2 developed adverts for outdoor Adshell advertising , html email, social media assets and a direct mail piece. The invite for the open day, doubled up as nursery brochure providing wider information about the nursery for those that couldn’t make the date.

RESULT

The campaign was successful, each nursery achieving good attendance of prospective parents who mentioned the ads or DM they saw.  S2 is proud to have an ongoing relationship with The Co-operative Childcare.
