S2 has been appointed by Skinsmiths, a skincare company with 9 high end clinics in London that is now looking to sell their skincare products online direct to consumers.

Skinsmiths is a brand dedicated to providing skincare confidence, ‘making the pathway to skin confidence simple’. Initially clinic based, Skinsmiths are looking to significantly grow their online presence offering their skin care products to a wider UK audience. During the current pandemic, it has never been more important to be able to sell to direct to consumers (D2C) and their customer website is being upgraded to manage the increased online capacity.
Serendipity2 is providing both skincare user research and consumer profiling for Skinsmiths.
S2 initially conducted online research of 2,000 participants to explore the skincare marketplace. This was used to gain a better understanding of the UK skincare marketplace. Identifying key target socio-demographics, who they are, what motivates and influences their skincare routines and how best to engage with them.
Customer Persona Development
After the online research phase, S2 is now working with Skinsmiths to identify and develop key consumer profiles using a combination of research and data analytics. S2 is excited to be working with this exciting brand and look forward to delivering this project in Q1/Q2 2021.
