S2 is delighted to be working with World of Wedgwood. After working on an initial customer profiling project, S2 is now using this insight to drive footfall to the venue over the summer months.

Wedgwood is a fine china, porcelain and luxury accessories company founded in 1759 by Josiah Wedgwood. The World of Wedgwood, (WOW), is a unique visitor experience providing a first class venue for a great day out. Visitors can explore the tradition, history and diversity of this iconic English brand.

After a recent and extensive multi million pound refurbishment of the site’s facilities, WOW’s overriding current aim is to drive footfall to the venue and to increase sales through the museum, factory tours, retail outlets, restaurant and tea rooms. Increased traffic to the venue will, as a result, drive brand exposure, raise the profile of the venue, deliver improved customer retention and attract a new customer base.

WOW appointed S2 as their strategic insight agency to gain a better understanding of their visitors. This insight is now being used to underpin the marketing communications strategy for the summer months. As a result, S2 is currently providing a full communications mix including radio, outdoor advertising and digital communications.
