About the Role

An exciting position has become available for a part-time Bookkeeper (1 to 2 days per week) to join a fast-paced dynamic team based in central London. You will lead the accounts function for the business and be a strong finance professional with a good knowledge of accounting principles, strong business ethics and be proficient on Xero.

The role will include the following responsibilities:

Bookkeeping on Xero to include the following:

  • Raising of sales invoices
  • Uploading to client portals for processing
  • Chasing debtors
  • Uploading purchase invoices to DEXT
  • Credit card analysis
  • Month end supplier payments
  • Staff Expenses
  • Directors Expenses
  • Cash flow
  • Bank account management
  • Monthly payroll
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Pension submissions
  • Staff commission calculations
  • Year-end reporting P60s / P11d calculations
  • Quarterly VAT returns
  • Year-end accounts preparation and tax payments
  • Fulfilment payments – support relationship management
  • Sickness and Holiday Log as HR support
  • Manage office logistics

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Xero and DEXT
  • Accounting qualification preferable
  • A pro in finance and bookkeeping, with experience in accounts payable and receivable, expense management, and basic financial reporting
  • A tech-savvy individual comfortable with various productivity tools and MS office software and Monday.com
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a passion for supporting others in achieving success
  • Experience in the digital marketing or creative industries is an advantage
  • Experienced and qualified bookkeeper, with extensive experience of Xero
  • A highly organised and detail-oriented individual with a talent for juggling multiple priorities

 

Salary & Benefits:

  • Equipment: Laptop provided
  • Salary: Hourly rate £15/£20 per hour, workplace pension
  • Flexible working: 1 to 2 days per week, hybrid role predominantly working from home with a monthly travel to our vibrant London office to meet with the team
  • Location: Home working or located within the London office
