New Business Development Manager

The remit as follows:

Sales

  • Lead the company’s sales effort across all product and service areas including. research, strategy and insights, creative and digital, email and social marketing, MarketView SaaS mapping tool and SKUHound sales enablement software.
  • Identify new business opportunities, including new clients, new partnerships or new products or new services.
  • Working closely with the MD to develop the company sales strategy to successfully reach new business opportunities.
  • Manage and maintain the companies CRM tool, which is currently Monday.com.
  • Conduct a weekly contact strategy with both clients and prospects, making a set number of agreed new appointments.
  • Develop your own new clients and nurture these relationship, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs.
  • Work with the leadership team and maintain the sales collateral so that is reflects the companies USPs and is compelling and engaging.
  • Run the weekly sales meeting, maintain the sales forecast and provide a weekly report on this including the cost of sale.
  • Report on the number of leads, conversions and lost leads on a weekly basis.
  • Report on the number of sales meetings with clients and prospects on a weekly basis.
  • Implement more process driven practices which rapidly accelerate the sales pipeline funnel and measure the effectiveness of these practices.
  • Ensure that the company hits its monthly and annual sales and gross profit targets.
  • Prepare and track sales contracts.
  • Attend networking events to create industry relationships.
  • Work closely with company introducers and non-exec directors to support their efforts, nurture the lead when handed over and close the deal.
  • Keeping abreast of market trends and competitor service offerings.

Marketing

  • Work closely with the MD to develop a comprehensive marketing strategy and support tactical execution across all key business areas and channels, including:
    • Monthly newsletters.
    • Monthly promotion emails.
    • Database expansion.
    • Supporting the PR consultant.
    • Social media marketing.
    • Working with the Creative Director to ensure that the website is up to date and ranking successfully.
    • Develop and run the S2 client entertainment and gifting calendar.
  • Being aware of the market trends and competitors
  • Suggesting new projects such as product development to tap into the new market.

Salary & Benefits:  £35-40k basic salary plus senior management reward/commission scheme, 25 days holiday, company pension. 

Full Time:  Working Hours, 9-5.30pm.

Location: Flexible working, plus 2 days per week in the London office. Access to Spaces (Regus) shared workspace for 10 days per month in London and other locations.
